


Protecting Our Land Summer Youth Camp 2025
The Arizona Indian Education Association (AIEA) is proud to host our 4th annual statewide summer camp for American Indian students in Grades 7-12. The 4th Annual “Protecting Our Land” Youth Summer Leadership Camp will be held on July 25-27, 2025. This year’s theme is “Braiding the Elements of Life” emphasizing the ways our ancestors used cultural knowledge of the surrounding environment to sustain a way of life for our people.
CAMP GOALS
● Building advocacy skills with a cultural foundation
● Connecting advocacy, traditional knowledge, and storytelling
● Understanding environmental stewardship as a sovereign responsibility
